# Privacy policy

## 1\. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly: account details (name, email), company information entered in questionnaires, documents you share with coSow (such as call transcripts and notes), and generated documents (SOWs, cost estimates, resource plans). We also collect usage data such as page views and feature interactions to improve the service.

## 2\. How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to deliver and improve the coSow service. This includes generating documents, providing cost estimates, and personalizing your experience. We use aggregated, anonymized usage data for analytics and product improvement.

## 3\. Data security

coSow runs on Google Cloud. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to the service requires sign-in, and each firm's data is held in its own workspace.

## 4\. We do not sell your data

-   We do not sell your data to third parties.
-   We do not share your data with advertisers.
-   We do not use your data to train AI models.
-   Your company data and generated documents are never accessible to other firms.

## 5\. Third-party services

We use a limited number of trusted service providers to operate coSow, including cloud hosting, sign-in, and AI processing. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data. We do not share your data beyond what is necessary to deliver the service.

## 6\. Using coSow from AI assistants

You can connect coSow to an AI assistant such as Claude. You sign in with your coSow account, and the assistant can then do only what your coSow access allows. coSow receives only what the assistant sends it to complete your request. What coSow sends back is handled by the assistant's provider under its own terms and privacy policy. You can disconnect at any time from your coSow settings or from the assistant.

## 7\. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.

## 8\. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. You may request a copy of all data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@cosow.ai.
